Hello, I’m Marina
I have been photographing newborns since 2015, and I am a mum myself, so I know how quickly those first days pass and how much you want to remember them. From my home studio inWest Wickham (BR4), in the Bromley borough of South London, I photograph newborns, babies turning one, families and mums-to-be.
How I work with newborns
Every session is baby-led. The studio is kept warm and quiet, your baby is always supported, and no pose is ever forced. We stop for feeds, cuddles and nappy changes whenever your baby needs them, while you relax on the sofa. Newborn photos work best when babies are 5 to 14 days old, when they sleep deeply and curl up naturally, and older newborns are welcome too: we simply plan the session around them.
I provide all the wraps, outfits, headbands, baskets and vintage props, in soft neutral or gentle colour palettes, so you only need to bring your baby, a feed and spare nappies. Every photo is hand-edited so skin tones stay natural and the colours stay soft and timeless.
What I photograph
- Newborn photography in the studio, ideally in your baby’s first two weeks.
- Sitter sessions and cake smash & splash for babies from 6 months to their first birthday.
- Family and children photos and maternity photoshoots in the studio, at home or outdoors.
